At Lynn Quinlivan Photography, newborns are one of our favorite subjects to photograph. We enjoy every moment of capturing the joy felt for tiny new miracles. Newborns grow and change so quickly and we really want to freeze this moment in time for you. We pride ourselves in the way that we capture each baby’s unique details and expressions. We want you to be able go back in time and actually remember and feel the joy you felt welcoming your new baby into this world.
Newborns are best photographed within the first 3 weeks of life. During this window of time, babies still love to curl up and resemble how they were positioned in the womb. They are also super sleepy! This is how we’re able to achieve the relaxed poses and expressions in our newborn photography.
Sessions take place at our studio in North Grafton, MA where Lynn uses a mixture of natural lighting and studio lighting to achieve the soft look she’s known for. Since we move at the pace of the baby, sessions usually last between 2 and 3 hours allotting plenty of time for feeding, changing and comforting. We have a variety of different colored and textured props to choose from to match your home and nursery decor. We offer custom birth announcements, baby albums, canvas displays, prints and more.
Typically we book a month or two in advance. So, please don’t hesitate to contact us to book a few months prior to your delivery date to ensure availability within the 2 week time-frame. Once you book your session, we’ll send you more information to prepare you for your session.
